So this weekend we had a great time. On Friday night I was able to get out new TV hung over the fireplace, run all the wires for the surround sound and run a new cable line. It was a great project and Tami and were both very grateful to the friends that helped with this project. I can honestly say without their help there is no way the project would have got done.
After a late night on Friday night (2am). Tami and I woke up early Saturday morning. Tami still fighting a cold was absolutely exhausted from a the previous week. That however did not stop her from trying to help me clean up. Trust me when I tell you that this clean up was no easy task. In fact it took almost as long as the project itself. She was a great help till her cold & pregnancy got the best of her. She spent the rest of the day just relaxing on the couch.
With her relaxing I finished the clean up and hooked up the surround sound. Then we ordered dinner from BW3's and rented Iron Man (in HD and 5.1 surround sound). It was a great movie. After the movie we played a game of Scrabble and then relented to our exhaustion.
Today we went to the Eagles vs. Bengals game at Paul Brown Stadium. This was our first experience at a professional football game. We had a tremendous time. The weather although the coldest it has been all year wasn't bad. We were also very thankful that it didn't rain or snow. In the end we enjoyed 75 minutes of football and watched the first tie game in the NFL since 2002. Not every day you get to say that.
After such a busy weekend Tami and I are just so thankful that God has blessed us like he has. We realize that this weekend was a series of events that many people may never get to enjoy and for that we are extremely thankful!
