Fingerprinting Appointments
Well it is a good thing I posted the Matthew West video yesterday and learned a thing or 2 about patience! I am learning patience in EVERY step of this process, even the ones that you just do not expect. I came home today to 2 things. 1. Dog poop - my dog loves me:) 2. Two envelopes from the USCIS!!! I opened them as quickly as possible. My fingerprinting appointment is set for Wednesday, October 13 at 8:00. Yes folks that is 8:00 AM! I have to be in Cincinnati, which is a good hour from our house. The drive by myself should be fun at rush hour!! YIKES. I am nervous about that one. Hopefully my boss will be ok with me taking the time off. Josh's appointment however is smack dab in the middle of his next business trip. In order to reschedule you have to mail the letter BACK to USCIS and wait for another appointment. So needless to say I"m trying very hard to remember that its just a tiny little hiccup. No big deal right? (inside I am saying, REALLY COME ON! They couldn't give us some options or think that we might have plans?). So I sat down and prayed for a HUGE dose of patience and understanding. God seemed to whisper back in my ear, "daughter I have it. No need to worry or fret. I got this!" I know God will work it out just as it's supposed to be. SO for now I continue to pray for our sweet son and for a huge dose of patience for his mama!

Oh girlfriend! Lovin' u and prayin' for you! We're almost there too. Waiting on things out of our control is hard! We're waiting for two things too! HURRY UP OTHER PEOPLE! Praying for you to relax and have peace!

I'm trying not to be disappointed each day as I check the mail, and our letter is not in the mailbox...sigh. We're learning a thing or two ourselves about patience:) All in God's timing, right?;)
I love how you said that God whispered in your ear, "I've got it" or something like that...I keep reminding myself of that very thing.
We'll be praying for the details for you guys. We're getting closer!

Oh goodness! I hope they get back to you quickly... we're praying right along with you. Hang in there! God does have it all under control :o)
So happy for you!!! We're getting our fingerprints done on MONDAY ~ WOOT-WOOT!! The place we have to go is also an hour away, but my apt is at 1pm, which means i have to take the entire day off. Oh well. It takes me an hour and a half to get to work, and that's in the opposite direction. So there was NO WAY i was gonna do that. :-) Praying things work out with your rescheduling.
