Beginning of the school year freezer cook

We have been so busy (in a wonderful good way) this summer that the beginning of the new school year just seemed to pop up out of nowhere!! You know what that meant!  Time for some freezer meals!  This time Abby and I cooked the meals during the day on two separate days...with six kids in the house.  The kids actually did really well, and it also helped that one of the kids was 13 year old.  She even helped with the dishes!  Score!  We had great fun cooking up all of the meals and we were able to cook each meal for an entire family for about $5.60 per meal. Not bad considering the grocery store price hikes lately!  The weekend after Abby and I cooked Josh helped me make pancakes and waffles to freeze for breakfast as well.

So, here is a list of the meals we put together this time! If you are ever considering doing this yourself feel free to ask questions!

Shepherds Pie
Cilantro Lime Slowcooker Chicken
Mom's Enchiladas
BBQ Beer Chicken
Chicken and Mushrooms in a Garlic Wine Sauce
Carmelized Baked Chicken
Lasagna
Johnny Marzetti
Chicken Pot Pie
Waffles (we add sugar and vanilla)

These are literally ALL of the pictures we took the entire time. We REALLY need to get better at this.  Next time more pictures!
