Its not every year we celebrate Christmas at Thanksgiving, but this year was a bit different and it turned out to be a very good idea! Nick and Allison were so kind in asking us to join them in their Thanksgiving feast. It was wonderful and we were impressed with Nick's yummy turkey.Earlier in the morning we had a chance to put up our tree (yes fake but we swear this is the last year for that!) and do a little decorating around the house.
On Friday Tami's dad, mom, brother, brother's wife, and grandma all came to visit. We ate a yummy dinner on Friday followed by celebrating Christmas early since we won't be able to drive up there this Christmas. The night proved to be tons of fun filled with laughter, games, and silliness. The rest of the weekend was filled with shopping and soaking Tami's very swollen feet!
God was very good to us this weekend and we thank him so much for family and for his many blessings. Tami went to the doc today and he said everything is looking great! He said his goal is for the baby to come before Christmas too, but we aren't getting our hopes up in case she decides to appear a little late:) We hope we get our little Christmas bundle soon!!!!
