The summer is going by quickly in our household and I'm very thankful for the time home with my daughter in the summer. We had a chance to get to the nearby water park last week, which was tons of fun. We also had some time this weekend for some much needed family time. Its amazing how things like a walk around the neighborhood, a trip for ice cream, and some swinging at the local park can restore your spirit and ready you for another busy week! Thank the Lord.

We also had a great time celebrating 2 very special boys' birthdays!! C just turned 5 and B just turned 1. The theme was Cookie Monster and was so cute! The party was complete with yummy chocolate cookies, cupcakes, and milk. I just had to share a few pics.

In adoption news, we met with our social worker last week and it went very well. She comes to our house this coming Friday for our in home visit. During this visit she will interview Josh and I separately and do a safety audit of our home. Most of our home study paper work is complete so we are now focusing on the Dossier paperwork and trying to remember to take things 1 step at a time! More importantly, we pray for our son every day and know that God's timing is perfect in all things.
