1 O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.
2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants,
you have established strength because of your foes,
to still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him?
5 Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You have given him dominion over the works of your hands;
you have put all things under his feet,
7 all sheep and oxen,
and also the beasts of the field,
8 the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea,
whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
It's true. All of it. What's the best part? If he has dominion over everything, then he'll bring our son home just when it's time. It's still hard. I still prance a little. I still squint my eyes. Yet, I still come back to the fact that Our Risen Lord is over ALL. He knows me inside and out. All I have to do is look up at the stars in the sky and see his majestic splendor. He's got it and I'm so thankful that He's my father.
I still pray for patience. Every day. I still pray for more orphans to have their forever families more quickly. I still pray. I won't stop. Ever. I love talking to my Abba Father; the maker and the creator of the universe.

This is crazy! I was upset yesterday as well...about the wait time change...and just having a hard day. I opened the Bible and asked God to "tell" me what chapters to read. I had two chapters pop in my head: Psalms 8 and Psalms 18. You'll have to check out Psalms 18 too!
WOW! God is so awesome. I will definitely read Psalm 18 as well. Thanks for the reminder!
