All our bags are packed we're ready to go...

Yep!  We're singing the song! It's true!  Now, when I say the bags are packed, I mean they are REALLY packed.  This is exciting because it means we have lots of items to take to the orphanage thanks to you!  YAY! However, its been a tad interesting packing, repacking, and packing again.  You see, we were always planning on packing most of own clothes in our carry ons so that all of the other luggage could hold donations, BUT they now weigh your carry on and it cannot be over 15 pounds.  That really put a damper on things!  So, the first prayer request we have is that they will let us get through with all of our luggage checked and our carry ons with NO EXTRA fee.  That would be a huge gigantic blessing!

Nana arrives tomorrow to come watch our baby girl for a few days and then Mimi and Poppy will also have her for a few days.  Thankfully, our girl is very excited! However, we've never been away from her for more than a weekend getaway. Please pray for our hearts as we go to meet our son for the very first time while at the same time leave our girl back at home!

Speaking of meeting our son, we cannot put into words how excited we are to meet our son.  We are also praying that any expectations we might have would go away and that God would just use this time for us to get to know our little guy before leaving.  Please pray that God would give us great time with him and help to learn a lot about him in the process.

Please also pray for safe travels as we fly out.  Gotta be honest I"m not the best flyer. So, hopefully my husband doesn't go crazy by the end of the flight.  Tired, grumpy, emotional, worn out wife...that could do him in:)  Good thing he's pretty patient!

Lastly, our court date is on Monday, July 30th. Please pray that we pass court without any further complications!  This would be a huge WONDERFUL blessing!  PLUS we can show you pictures when we pass and I mean i know you want to see how cute he is right??

We will try to keep you updated while we are away.  For the most part we will probably use the good ole' FB, but hopefully we'll get a chance to update on here a few times as well.  THANK YOU a million times for all of your prayers. They have definitely been felt over the past few weeks in a huge way.

God is so good all of the time.  Isaiah 40:28-31 says:
28Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
29  He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30  Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
31  but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

 Josh has been listening to an EXCELLENT version of "Be Still My Soul" by Page CXVI. We have been realizing that more than anything we simply need to Be Still before God and know that he is truly our Sovereign God.
