Today began by waking up to a beautiful view by the lake. We ate breakfast and left at about 10:00 to head back to Addis. The drive this time was really nice because it was a much clearer day outside and there was no rain. We were able to see all of the green grass, and people were out walking around. We saw people walking to get water, directing their sheep or donkeys, walking home from church, and selling items by the side of the road. We stopped for lunch and had some roasted chicken. Have I mentioned that everything we eat here has SPICE?? I LOVE IT! Even the spaghetti at dinner at a little kick to it! Ok, sorry for my random side bars! We got back on the road after lunch and arrived at the TH at around 4:15.
We walked into the TH and I was just aching to see our babe! The good news is that he looked SO MUCH better today. He wasn't nearly as wheezy and he was ALL smiles today. He was clapping after Josh sang him song, giving tons of high fives, and he kept taking my glasses off and thought it was funny. He's not walking yet but he is standing up on things and supporting himself. We also got pictures of him with Laura's little girl. It was too cute. I felt like we didn't have enough time, however, as we left an hour after got there. I almost couldn't let go! The nannies are so wonderful there though and really take good care of them so that helps a lot.
We then came back to our guest house, cleaned up and ate dinner here with the others from AWAA. Pretty soon it will be time to go to bed and you know what that means...COURT DATE TOMORROW. While you are sleeping tonight we will be sitting in a waiting room waiting to be called for court. We are asking for your prayers that we PASS!!! As I've said many many times we know that God is complete and total control. We trust in his timing throughout the entire process. Of course we REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to pass court tomorrow!
