God is so good!

Where do I begin? Our garage sale this weekend went well and it was because of so many great people that helped bring it together. Our friends and family came together to really make this happen and we feel so blessed to have them all in our lives! My mom and grams came down on Wednesday night and with the help of our friends Mark and Amy, we organized the items and priced everything. Wow, that is one big job!! We would never have finished it without the help! Thursday, Friday, and Saturday went by so quickly. We met many nice people at the garage sale and sold quite a few items. Let me tell you what my grams is quite the salesperson!! She can convince anyone that they need something:) We also saw many familiar faces at the sale too, which was a great encouragement. By the end of Saturday with the sale and some very gracious donations, we had raised just under 1000 dollars! Wow, God is great! In case you are wondering about the cost of adoption and what this money will go towards, we recently sent 3000 dollars to the home study agency for our home study and will soon be writing a 845 dollar check for our i600A form (yes that is one piece of paper!). The funds raised from the garage sale will go towards these costs. As we said before, we cannot express how thankful we are for all of those that helped make this happen!! THANK YOU!!!!

Prayer please: our fire inspection is Tuesday morning, July 13 at 8:00 AM. We still have to get ready by hanging the fire extinguisher and fire alarms and posting our evacuation routes and important phone numbers. We've just been so busy with the garage sale we haven't had time. I am nervous about the inspection after talking with the inspector on the phone. PLEASE PLEASE pray that we'll pass without a hitch!

I'd love to connect with you via fb or email. Sounds like you guys are at the same place as us in this adoption process... check me out on fb at Katie Zouhary Seevers. Looking forward to connecting and hearing more about your story!
