Blessed

Wow, the events of the last week happened so incredibly fast that I have not had a chance to update the blog.  We received a call Monday that we were cleared for travel to pick up B, booked travel that day to leave on Friday, furiously pack all of our stuff + everything we need for a baby/toddler for a week, arranged sitters for our daughter before getting on the plane.  Meanwhile, I (Tami) was also helping interview for a long term music sub for the rest of school year.  Once she was hired (literally in one morning) she had one day to shadow me and then she started the next day.  THAT WAS CRAZY. Definitely wouldn't want to do that again.  But you know what?  It was all worth it. 


I am sitting here watching our son take a nap on his daddy's chest.  Yep, it was worth it.  We arrived in ET and were able to go get B by 10:00 A.M.  We are now just relaxing at the guest house and fighting falling asleep while B naps.  We plan on relaxing at the guest house today and taking time for B to start getting to know us.  He loves to cuddle and love on us, however we can tell that he is unsure of what is going on and why he is suddenly with us.  He is also (which we knew from the first trip so we are not surprised) VERY MUCH all about his daddy, which is wonderful but hopefully bonding time with mommy will start happening too.  Please say a prayer for him as we know this transition has to be hard on him.  Here are a few pics of us picking up our guy!
